Reviews and Ratings
I was thrilled with the brand-new room, fabulous bathroom, fantastic bed, and incredible massage chair, though getting in and out was a bit tricky. The shower was excellent, and the amenities were abundant. However, there were some issues with incorrect information provided and limited English spoken at the hotel.
The room I stayed in was definitely not what I expected based on the advertised description. Although the receptionist explained it was a twin room, for the high price of over $400, it felt extremely cramped to the point where the only way for the second person to move around was to crawl at the bottom of the bed. Despite this, I must say it was an amazing experience overall. The room was cozy, with a spacious and clean bathroom that had a separate shower and bath. The facilities were very modern and well-maintained.
The hotel's location was incredibly convenient, with easy access underground for trips outside Kyoto and a short walk from Kyoto Station, surrounded by plenty of dining options. The staff was polite and helpful, although they have limited English proficiency. The rooms, while small and accessible only from one side, were significantly improved in the superior category, offering a more spacious layout and a great bathroom for its size. The dining experience, although lacking variety and somewhat expensive, did feature delicious homemade sweets. Overall, a convenient choice for exploring Kyoto with some room for improvement.
My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The rooms were decent in size, and despite being a bit tight, they were well-designed and comfortable with two beds. The service was very good, with helpful and friendly staff, but the dining options were somewhat limited. The location was excellent, being very close to Kyoto train and bus stations, making it convenient for traveling around the city. The facilities were satisfactory, offering what I needed for a comfortable stay.
The hotel is situated in a very convenient area close to Kyoto station, making it perfect for touring Kyoto. The rooms, although small, were clean and elegantly inviting. The service provided by the efficient staff was really nice and accommodating. The dining options, while limited, were nice overall. The location, near central sights and with friendly staff, makes it a great choice for travelers.
The hotel's rooms, though tiny, were clean and functionally great in the context of Japanese standards. The service was friendly with helpful staff who had little English. In a good location near Kyoto Central Station, the hotel allowed easy access to most attractions. The dining options, while not very diverse, were satisfactory. Overall, a decent value for the price paid.
The hotel is conveniently located near Kyoto JR station and bus terminal, with trendy shops and restaurants around. The Japanese modern interior style rooms are spacious and come with fantastic amenities, but the dining options may not suit all tastes.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms, although nicely decorated with a blend of modern and traditional Japanese elements, were a bit small and stuffy due to windows not opening properly. The service was friendly and welcoming, but lacked helpful suggestions for activities in Kyoto. The location was extremely convenient, being very close to Kyoto Station and ideal for accessing the city's attractions. The dining experience fell short of expectations, not living up to its high ratings. Overall, a decent stay with some room for improvement.
